Ross Moreno graduated in 2005 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an MFA in sculpture, also studying performance and video. He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2001, having also studied at the Edinburg College of Art and the Maine College of Art. Moreno has performed and exhibited in cities worldwide including; Hong Kong, Berlin, Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. His work has been reviewed in L Magazine, artnet Magazine, Time Out Chicago, and New City. Moreno attended the summer residency at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2003 receiving an artist fellowship, 1a Residency Hong Kong in 2007, and in 2009 attended the Vermont Studio Center with a full fellowship. Ross Moreno is the recipient of grants from the Visiting Artist Fellowship Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Illinois Arts Council. Professional affiliations include membership to the College Arts Association, International Brotherhood of Magicians, Society of American Magicians. Moreno has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Carthage College, Kenosha, WI.
